QUALITY ASSURANCE /QUALITY CONTROL POLICY OCTG products must withstand grueling conditions to continue to protect pipe and drilling equipment. The temperatures, corrosion, and pressure in wellbores take a significant toll on OCTGs, and if these pieces do not hold up, there can be severe consequences for workers and the local environment. There is an astronomical amount of monetary loss at stake in the oil and gas industry.
The company shall ensure routine audits (inspections/check) of lifting equipment, accessories and facilities at all times.
At PanalPaker PPS Limited, it is our honor to continue to help meet the increasing demand for Oil Country Tubular goods (OCTG) through meeting with all API (American Petroleum Institute) standard production requirements on strength, Elasticity, Flexibility, quality threaded connections, compliance, quality assurance, and excellent service delivery. We’re happy to offer an extensive line of top-quality pipe protection and OCTG products.

MATERIAL STORAGE, HANDLING AND TRANSPORTATION POLICY. At PanalPaker PPS Limited, it is our honor to continue to help meet the increasing demand for oil country tubular goods (OCTG) through successful, compliance, quality assurance, standard production, Stacking, Handling and excellent service delivery.
We’re happy to offer an extensive line of top-quality pipe protection and OCTG products.
Storage
In determining space requirements for Tubular, the following points are considered:
- Height of stack
- Diameter of casing (including coupling)
- Range of casing/Tubing and total feet
- Size of pipe racks
- Working space
In accordance with API Recommended Practice the height of a stack should be 10 ft. (3 m) including the pipe rack. If the height of the rack above the ground is taken to be 0.5 m then the maximum height of casing on the rack should not exceed 8 ft.
The length of each pipe rack is sufficient to accommodate Range 3 tubular. The width of the rack vary, but for the limited quantity of each type of Tubular held in stock, ensure the width is not more than 40 ft. (12 m) nor less than 20 ft. (6m) The design of our pipe racks is dependent on local conditions. i.e.: required load bearing capacity and degree of permanency.
Our racks are made with concrete beam; they are spaced to support the longest and the shortest joint in stock.
Casing and Tubing are stacked with separators between layers. Separators in successive layers are in line to avoid bending moments on the pipes.
As separators, timber of around 5" (7.5 cm) is used with a wedge at both ends. Preservation The corrosively of the atmosphere depends on the degree of contamination which can vary considerably.
The presence of moisture alone, even prolonged rain will cause significant corrosion of steel. Sand and dirt collecting on steel can increase corrosion by holding contaminants on the surface.
